New Orleans, LA

Education and awards:

BS in Natural Resources and Watershed Certificate from Sewanee: The University of the South

Position at CGL:

Preschool Teacher

Year started at CGL:

August 2019

Why you choose to teach at CGL:

I naturally gravitate toward a Reggio Emilia teaching style. My background in education stems from informal programming, and I was interested in beginning to work with the same students and families overtime while continuing utilizing this approach toward teaching.

Favorite moment in the classroom:

I am just beginning at CGL, but some of my favorite moments leading programing at the Children’s Museum of Denver with youth involve sensory experiences making objects and telling stories while playing with clay.

Hobbies and Interests:

I make pottery, run long distances, ride bikes on roads, skin up mountains, and practice yoga.
